Launched in 2017, the Futures platform aims to raise awareness of Europe’s talented emerging photographers. The project, which is co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme, provides opportunities to create and to be promoted, as well as mobility, for hundreds of artists selected each year by Europe’s leading artistic institutions. Every year, the institutions that joined the professional network of Futures select photographers who are just starting their careers and nominate them to join the platform. The excellent material of the artists and the curatorial expertise accumulated in the platform facilitate access for each selected talent to the relevant professionals, players of the art market and the wider public. Being selected for the Futures programme is a guarantee of artistic quality and expands an artist’s opportunities.

Members of the FUTURES Platform:

CAMERA (IT), Centre Photographique Rouen Normandie (FR), Ci.CLO (PT), Copenhagen Photo Festival (DK), Der Greif (DE), FOMU (BE), FOTODOK (NL), Fotogalleriet (NO), Fotofestiwal Lodz (PL), Fotograf 07 (CZ), ISSP (LV), Organ Vida (CR), PHotoESPAÑA (ES), PhotoIreland (IR), Photo Romania Festival (RO), Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center (HU), Triennial of Photography Hamburg (DE), Void (GR).
